From music to narrating.
Powerhouse Lauryn Hill is going from music to movies as she lends her voice to the documentary “Concerning Violence”. The documentary is set to premiere at this month’s Sundance Film Festival.
The documentary is directed by Swedish filmmaker Göran Hugo Olsson and is about the African liberation movements of the 1960s and 1970s and some excepts from The Wretched of the Earth by psychologist Frantz Fanon.
Throughout this month, she is resuming her Homecoming Series shows in Huntington, NY and in February, she is coming to Charlotte, Atlanta, and Miami.
Currently, she is gearing up for her album, Letters From Exile on her label Obverse Creation Music.
