Australia-based dance-pop artist Starley releases her new music video for her debut single, “Call On Me.” The inspiring, “love yourself” track peaked at #3 on Hype Machine, racked up over a million streams on Spotify, and smashed the charts – landing at #4 on the U.S Viral Chart, #9 on the Netherlands Viral charts, #3 on the New Zealand Viral Charts and so on. It also hit #4 on the Global Viral Chart!

Now, less than four weeks later, Starley is ready to release the video interpretation of the single. Visually calming and free-spirited, the video was shot at her favorite childhood destination, Kiama, in Australia, and shows the world that it’s okay to dream big – all you need to do is call on yourself to step up to the plate.

“I wrote this song when I was at a low point in my life,” said Starley. “I wrote it in my bedroom late one night, on the keyboard. Since I can remember, all I’ve wanted to do was write and sing. I even moved country to pursue my dream and spent years in London, struggling with money, but still believing I would make it. I’d finally got to the point where I was feeling helpless and wanted to give up. I was thinking of walking away from music altogether. That reality was heartbreaking for me. One night, this song just poured out of me. It became a way of telling myself it was going to be ok, almost like an encouragement. It was as if I had created my own lighthouse, a beacon to help me realise my dreams are not impossible. I can do this. I’ll figure it out. I just need to follow my intuition and essentially call on myself.”

The track has already caught the eyes and ears of global tastemakers, “Starley receives a breezy electronica backbone that hoists her irresistibly catchy lyrics into the spotlight and adhere in the memories of listeners. Presenting a standout tune with commercially-appealing characteristics, the Sydney-based vocalist may be making her way stateside sooner than fans think,” said Dancing AstronautMusic Is My Life states that “Starley is a fresh face in the dance music scene,” Pop On And On calls her the “next big Aussie import,” and EDM Sauceclaims Starley could be “the next Ellie Goulding!!”
